Plumber marketing that brings in booked jobs.

Marketing for plumbers who are tired of splitting every lead with four other businesses. We run the Google Ads, the map listing and the website as one plan, so homeowners with a blocked drain or a dead hot water system find you and call you direct.

Sound familiar?

Good plumbing, stuck in a price war.

You do tidy, reliable work, yet most of your new customers arrive through lead sites where the same job lands in several inboxes and the lowest quote tends to win. Between those, it's referrals and hoping the phone rings.

Direct enquiries change the maths. A customer who found your ad, your map listing or your site has already chosen you, so the conversation starts with when you can come, not how cheap you are. That's the shift our marketing for tradies is built around. Our guide to getting more plumbing leads walks through the channels one at a time.

  • Paying for leads that go to your competitors at the same moment
  • Customers who only compare on price
  • Little or nothing showing when people search your business name
  • Flat out one month, chasing work the next

Two kinds of plumbing search.

Each one gets its own plan

Urgent: "I need someone now"

Water through the ceiling, a toilet backing up, a cold shower on a winter morning. These people search on their phone, scan the top of the page and ring the first plumber who looks trustworthy and answers. Speed and a visible phone number win the job.

Planned: "I'm getting quotes"

A hot water system on its last legs, pipe relining, a bathroom being redone. These customers take their time, read reviews, look at photos and want to understand the job. Proper service pages and a strong profile carry more weight than a fast ad.

How we get plumbers more work.

Four parts, one team running them
01

Google Ads for urgent and planned jobs

Your ads show for the work you want most, across the suburbs you cover, while you can pick up the phone. Urgent and planned work each get their own budget, calling you takes one tap, and every call is traced back to what produced it.

Why it suits plumbing: someone with water on the floor doesn't want three quotes. They want the first plumber who answers.

02

A map listing that gets tapped

A Google Business Profile that's complete and looks the part, with real job photos, the areas you travel to, and a flow of fresh Google reviews from happy customers.

Why it suits plumbing: for "plumber near me", the map results sit above the ordinary listings, so that's where the first taps go.

03

A website built for the phone

Fast on mobile, with the number fixed on screen, a page for each job type and each area you cover, your licence details and photos of your own vans and crew. Built to turn a panicked visitor into a call in a few seconds.

Why it suits plumbing: a homeowner with a leak picks quickly. If calling you takes more than a tap, the next result gets the job.

04

Reviews people can see

A steady stream of fresh Google reviews, replies to every one of them, and the best ones placed on your site where they help someone decide. We set up the post-job request so it happens without you remembering.

Why it suits plumbing: people read reviews before letting a stranger into the house, and recent reviews also help your map ranking.

How we approach search →

What the customer sees

Top of the page, one tap from a call.

When a drain blocks at 9pm, the homeowner types a few words into Google and sees ads, then the map, then everything else. Your job is to be in the first two, looking like the most reliable option, with the phone number ready to press.

We build the ad, the listing and the landing page to work together, and report every call each month so you can see which searches paid for themselves.

Plumbing work follows the weather.

So the budget moves with it

Wet season

Heavy rain means overflowing stormwater, blocked drains and roots in pipes. Drainage campaigns get pushed hardest here.

Summer

More hot water systems give up in the heat and holiday crowds. Replacement and repair searches get extra weight.

Winter

A failed hot water system in July is a same-day job. Urgent hot water and heating-related work comes to the front.

Quieter stretches

Planned work carries the load: relining, renovation rough-ins, gas fitting and maintenance for property managers.

Our patch, and beyond it

Gold Coast plumbers, from Helensvale to the border.

We're based in Mudgeeraba and work with plumbers from the northern growth suburbs down to the border, whether that's emergency work around Southport or bathroom jobs in Burleigh. Only one plumber per patch: we won't run ads for two businesses chasing the same suburbs.

Based somewhere else? Plumbers right around Australia work with us, with targeting set to the area your vans actually cover.

How do I get more emergency plumbing callouts?

Make urgent work easy to find and easy to act on. Your emergency ads reach people with water on the floor, ringing you takes one tap, and the page they land on puts your number first. The ads only appear while you can actually answer, so you're never paying for a call that rings out.

Is it worth getting off shared lead sites?

For most plumbers, yes, though it rarely makes sense to quit them overnight. A shared lead goes to several businesses at once and usually ends with the cheapest price. A customer who finds you directly through your ad, your map listing or your website has picked you already. We build that direct flow first, then you decide how much to keep spending on lead sites.

Do I need a new website?

Not always. We check your current site first and tell you plainly what it's costing you. Common problems on plumbing sites are a phone number buried at the bottom, one generic services page instead of a page per job type, and slow loading on mobile. Sometimes a few fixes are enough. If the site can't be saved, we'll say so and show you why.

What should a plumber budget for marketing?

No fixed figure fits every plumber. Your suburb and city matter, so does the number of rival plumbers chasing those searches, and so does whether the ads and website are built well enough to turn a click into a phone call. We look at all three in your free marketing review and give you a number built for your business.

Can you get me to number one for "plumber near me"?

Nobody can promise that, because Google decides the order. What we can do is put your business in the strongest position to earn a place in the map results, with a complete profile, a steady flow of reviews and a website that backs both up. We'll give you an honest read on your local competition before you commit to anything.

How do you deal with quiet months?

Plumbing demand moves with the weather. When urgent work slows, we lean the budget towards planned jobs like hot water replacements, relining and bathroom work, and keep your profile and pages active so you're still being found. When the busy stretch returns, emergency campaigns scale back up.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. We work month to month, there's no minimum term, and 30 days' notice ends it. Everything we set up, from the ads account to the map listing, is registered to your business, so it stays with you.

Do you work with plumbers outside the Gold Coast?

Yes. We're based in Mudgeeraba and work with plumbing businesses anywhere in Australia. The approach stays the same. What changes is the service area, the suburbs we target and who you're up against locally.

From the people we work with.
